Indonesian lamb curry
( SERVES 6 )
- Roughly chop the onions. Crush, peel and chop the garlic.
- Place the onion and garlic in the base of the slow cooker.
- Trim the fat from the meat and discard. Cut the meat into 2cm cubes. Place on top of the onion.
- Mix the chilli, coriander seeds, cinnamon, cloves, turmeric, ginger, tamarind paste and coconut milk together. Pour over the meat.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
- Serve with steamed rice or rice noodles, garnished with chopped parsley.
