Almond Breeze micronutrient smoothie

This recipe by Andrew McKenna was a finalist in The Hits Almond Breeze ultimate summer smoothie recipe competition.
- Blend kale leaves, spinach, silverbeet or rainbow chard, tomato, lemon juice, carrot, frozen blueberries, banana, apple, almond milk and ground flaxseed (optional).
- Add water for desired consistency. Add half an avocado (optional) to make it super-thick. This recipe gives you a whopping amount of micronutrients, vitamins, minerals, fibre and essential fatty acids.
