Video: How to make a BLT pizza (+ recipe)
Learn how to make a delicious bacon, lettuce and tomato pizza with Leggo's Pizza Sauce. Here's the recipe:
375g self raising flour
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 tbsp olive oil
Pinch of salt
200g Leggo's pizza sauce
1tbsp olive oil
4-5 rashes of streaky bacon
100g mozzarella balls, drained and sliced
200g heirloom tomatoes, sliced
60g grated mozzarella
Rocket leaves, to garnish
Combine flour and salt in large bowl and make a well in the centre. In a separate bowl, whisk together egg, olive oil and milk. Stir into dry ingredients until it forms a soft dough.
Turn mixture onto a floured surface and knead lightly. Divide the dough in half and roll out to form 2 x 20cm bases. Place on lightly floured pizza or baking trays.
Preheat oven to 200c.
Spread Leggo’s Pizza sauce over pizza bases. Sprinkle with grated mozzarella. Top with mozzarella balls, heirloom tomatoes and streaky bacon.. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
Remove. Arrange rocket leaves on top and drizzle with olive oil.
