Ganache (pronounced ga-nash) is a decadent chocolate mix that makes the ultimate icing for cakes and slices.
- Heat cream in a medium saucepan until just on the boil. Turn off heat.
- Add butter and chocolate and swirl to cover chocolate.
- Leave to melt without stirring for 5 minutes.
- Use a table knife to stir gently until combined, smooth and velvety.
