Strawberry bocconcini balls

Strawberries and basil go together well. These make simple but tasty nibbles to serve with a glass of bubbles. If you can’t get hold of bocconcini (baby mozzarella) use mozzarella or cream cheese.

Ingredients

4 Strawberries, large
1 Bocconcini ball, sliced into 4
8 Basil leaves, choose baby leaves

Directions

  1. Cut a V shape out of each strawberry.
  2. Place a slice of cheese into each cavity and top with a basil leaf or two and a little black pepper.
