Ricotta, pear, honey and cinnamon on butter bread

A deliciously simple breakfast with the sweetness of manuka honey and pear. 

Ingredients

4 slices Brioche, toasted
1 Tbsp Butter
1 Tbsp Manuka honey
1 Pear, cored and sliced
100 g Ricotta cheese, use up to 150g depending on preference
2 tsp Cinnamon

Directions

  1. Toast the bread and set aside. 
  2. Heat a pan, add butter and honey and when it bubbles add the pear slices. Cook for 5 minutes until slightly softened.
  3. Spread bread with ricotta, then pile on pears and any juices from the pan. 
  4. Sprinkle with the cinnamon.
