Golden delicious cake with brazils and lemon glaze
|150 g||Self raising flour|
|150 g||Caster sugar|
|1 cup||Brazil nuts, toasted and roughly chopped|
|2 cups||Apples, golden delicious, peeled and chopped|
- Preheat oven 180C. Grease a 22cm cake tin.
- Cream butter, sugar and zest until light then add eggs and mix well.
- Fold in flour, nuts and apples then spoon into tin and bake for about 45 minutes or until a skewer inserted tests clean.
- Combine glaze ingredients in a small pot and warm through, stirring, then pour over warm cake.
