Smokey sweet chicken drumsticks
- Make a strong pot of tea using a "smokey" flavoured variety.
- To each 2 cup measure of tea, add 2 tablespoons of honey, the juice of an orange and a tablespoon of thick soy or oyster sauce. Blend together.
- Add a cup of water.
- Layer your drumsticks in a baking tray and pour the mix over them.
- Place into medium oven and cook for 20-30 minutes, basting occasionally. The liquid should reduce to a sticky glaze.
Tip: If the chicken cooks before the glaze forms, remove the drumsticks and keep warm. Put the marinade in a pot and reduce it down until syrupy. Toss the chicken through the syrup and serve.
