Children enjoy making this candy-like slice and everyone enjoys eating it. Thanks to Felicity Williams for passing on the recipe.
- Preheat the oven to 180C. Mix the crushed wine biscuits and melted butter and press into the bottom of a 30 x 20cm slice tin.
- Sprinkle the raisins evenly over the base, followed by the chocolate, coconut and almonds. Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the top.
- Bake for about 20 minutes until the top is pale gold and glossy. Cut into squares or oblongs while still warm.
