Mock cream filling
- Mix the cornflour with a little cold milk. Heat the remaining milk. Combine a little warm milk with the cornflour mixture, return to pan and cook until thick. Allow to cool.
- Cream the margarine and sifted icing sugar. Beat until white and fluffy. Add the cooled sauce slowly, beating continuously.
- Flavour as desired, eg, vanilla essence, lemon or orange zest, etc.
