Blue cheese, date and watercress salad
In this salad, which makes a perfect autumn lunch, the dates and the honey in the dressing provide a touch of sweetness that nicely balances the saltiness and richness of the cheese.
- Combine the watercress, lettuce, dates, cheese and chives (sliced) in a large bowl. Make the dressing by whisking all the ingredients together in a small bowl. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss lightly. Pile on to 2 lunch plates.
