Pear and walnut salad with toasted sesame dressing
The pears in this salad need to be ripe but firm; for a well-balanced lunch, add a large slice of grilled haloumi cheese.
|4 cups||Salad leaves|
|1 bunch||Radishes, trimmed and sliced into wedges|
|3||Pears, quartered, cored and sliced|
|75 g||Walnuts, chopped into large pieces|
Toasted sesame dressing
- Wash the lettuce leaves in plenty of water and dry in a salad spinner or drain well, then tear into bite-sized pieces. Place all the ingredients in a large bowl. To serve, add several tablespoons of dressing and gently toss to coat.
- To make the dressing, put all ingredients in a small jar and shake well.
