Spicy chocolate brunch hot cakes

For something a bit different to your regular pancakes, try this spicy chocolate version.
- Sift flour, baking powder, cocoa and mixed spice into a bowl. Beat eggs, sugar and buttermilk together. Make a well in the dry ingredients. Add egg mixture and combine well.
- Grease a large frying pan and cook ¼ cupfuls of mixture. Turn once to cook second side. Keep warm while cooking remaining mixture. Peel bananas and cut in half lengthwise and cook in frying pan until golden.
- Serve hot cakes with bananas, blueberries and maple syrup.
