Tempura brussels sprouts with dipping sauce
- Mix flour and rice flour together with salt. Stir in iced water (1/2 cup and 2 tbs) to make batter consistency.
- Cook sprouts in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain well and dry with a paper towel.
- Dip sprouts in batter and quickly fry in hot oil until golden. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve with dipping sauce.
- To prepare dipping sauce: Mix sesame oil, mirin and soy sauce together.
