Chocolate honey pecan slice
- Heat oven to 180 degC. Line the base and sides of a 17cm x 27cm slice tin with nonstick baking paper, leaving an overhang on all sides.
- Combine butter, brown sugar and salt in a bowl and beat with an electric mixer until pale and creamy. Stir in flour to form a stiff dough. Press mixture into base of prepared tin. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, in the same bowl, combine eggs, honey, sugar and melted butter and mix well. Add chocolate bits and nuts and pour mixture over prepared base.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly caramelised and set. Cool in the tin before cutting into squares or bars
