- Steam or boil asparagus for two minutes to cook, then plunge into ice-cold water to cool.
- Beat softened cream cheese and drained salmon together, season with salt and pepper, then spread mixture over sandwich bread.
- Drain and dry asparagus, then place two spears on each piece of bread, crusts removed and roll up.
