Chocolate peanut butter slice
- Heat oven to 180 degC. Line a 17 x 27cm slice tin with nonstick baking paper, leaving an overhang on all sides.
- Place peanut butter, butter, vanilla essence and brown sugar in a bowl and beat with an electric mixer until pale and creamy. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
- Stir in the flour and chocolate bits. Spoon and spread the mixture into the prepared tin. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown and an inserted skewer comes out clean.
- Cool completely, then remove from tin. Spread with chocolate icing and cut into squares.
