Chocolate fudge slice
|½ cup||Caster sugar|
|125 g||Butter, cubed|
|2 Tbsp||Cocoa powder|
|1 tsp||Mixed spice|
|250 g||Biscuits, wine, fnely crushed|
|½ cup||Almonds, coarsely chopped|
Simple chocolate icing
- Line a 17 x 27cm slice tin with nonstick baking paper. Place butter in a saucepan to melt, then stir in sugar and stir to dissolve.
- Add beaten egg off the heat and stir for 1 minute to cook egg. Stir in vanilla, cocoa, mixed spice, crushed biscuits and almonds and then press into the prepared tin and refrigerate to set.
- Spread slice with simple chocolate icing and scatter with chocolate sprinkles. Cut in bars or squares to serve.
