Turkey and avocado burgers
- Heat a nonstick frying pan, add a little oil and fry the sliced turkey meat for three to five minutes, tossing well until turkey is hot and browned. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- At the same time, toast the burger buns (if your toaster has extra-wide slots), or place the buns under a hot grill to brown.
- Layer salad leaves on the bun bases, then top with hot turkey, sliced avocado and a dollop of pesto or chutney. Place bun lids on top and serve immediately.
