
Chocolate sweethearts

Ingredients
125 g | Butter, chopped |
200 g | Dark chocolate, buttons or melts |
⅔ cup | Brown sugar, firmly packed |
½ cup | Sugar |
2 | Eggs, lightly beaten |
1 tsp | Vanilla essence/extract |
⅔ cup | Flour |
1 Tbsp | Cocoa powder |
100 g | Dark chocolate, melted, to decorate |
Directions
- Heat oven to 160 degC fan bake. Grease and line a 17x27cm slice tin with nonstick baking paper. oelt chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl. Stir until smooth.
- Stir in sugars, then stir in eggs and vanilla. Lastly stir in flour and cocoa, sifted together.
- Pour into prepared tin and bake for 30 minutes or until just firm. Dont over-bake, or the brownie mixture will not be fudgy. Remove to cool in the pan.
- Remove from the pan and cut out heart shapes with a cookie cutter. Drizzle with extra melted chocolate as desired.
