Passionfruit sauce for icecream
- Place passionfruit pulp, sugar and star anise in a saucepan and bring to the boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Turn down the heat and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until thick and syrupy. Remove to cool.
- For an easy pudding, spoon sauce over scoops of ice cream, preferably vanilla.
Tip: You can always strain out the crunchy black passionfruit seeds if they bother you. Simply measure the pulp and use to flavour recipe as required.
