Fairy sprinkle cakes

This is a simple and easy vanilla cupcake recipe and the cupcakes look great with colourful hundreds and thousands sprinkles, or mix it up with chocolate sprinkles, silver balls, or make your own colourful icing.
- Heat oven to 160 degC fan bake. Line a 12-hole standard muffin tin with paper cases. Place the butter, caster sugar and vanilla in a bowl and beat together until pale and creamy.
- Add eggs and beat to combine. Stir in milk, alternating with sifted flour. Spoon into prepared cases and bake for 25 minutes or until firm and golden brown.
- Remove cakes to a wire rack to cool. Decorate by sprinkling with hundreds & thousands.
