Yakitori fish and spring onions
( MAKES 8 skewers )
- Place 2 pieces of chopped fish and 1 piece of spring onion on a skewer. Repeat layers twice more, finishing with a spring onion.
- Place skewers in a shallow, non-metallic dish. Mix soy sauce, garlic, ginger and sugar together in a bowl.
- Pour soy mixture over fish and leave for 1 hour, covered in fridge. Grill skewers quickly on all sides until cooked.
- Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds and extra spring onion if desired, on a bed of rice.
