- Cook bacon in oil in a frying pan over medium heat until crisp. Stir in garlic then drain onto paper towels.
- Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to the boil and cook pasta for 3 to 4 minutes until just tender. Add peas to the pasta. Remove pan from the heat and drain through colander.
- Return pasta and peas to the hot pot. Add bacon, parsley or basil, pepper and eggs. Stir quickly until egg starts to thicken. Stir in cheese. Serve immediately.
