Honey wholegrain mustard
A pot of homemade mustard can be the perfect gift. It's also quickly made and can be prepared well in advance.
1. Place the seeds and wine in a large ceramic bowl, stir to combine and leave to soak overnight. Stir several times during the soaking stage.
2. Combine the oil, honey and salt and add to the soaked mustard seeds. Mix well, then spoon into hot sterilised jars and seal.
To sterilise jars, wash in hot soapy water, rinse and place in a preheated 130C oven for 20 minutes.
