Coconut ice slice
This sweet and crunchy slice is a traditional recipe and always a favourite with the kids. Any leftover condensed milk can be frozen for later use.
|1 tsp||Baking powder|
|2 Tbsp||Cocoa powder|
|1 tsp||Vanilla essence/extract|
|175 g||Butter, melted|
- Preheat oven to 180C. Place sugar, crushed Weet-Bix, baking powder, flour, cocoa and coconut in a bowl.
- Add combined vanilla and melted butter, mix well.
- Press into a greased or lined 28 x 20cm slice pan and bake for 15 minutes until cooked.
- Mix all topping ingredients together and quickly spread over the warm cooked base. Cut into squares.
