An easy, delicious and economical midweek meal, these hamburgers are given a fresh and zesty flavour with the addition of pineapple. Aloha!
- Place mince, chopped parsley and egg (lightly beaten) in a bowl, season with salt and pepper, then mix well to combine.
- Shape mixture into 4 flat patties.
- Heat a frying pan, add a little oil and fry patties in batches on each side until browned and cooked through. Toast bagel halves or place under a hot grill to brown. Spread each bagel base with aioli (or mayonnaise).
- Layer a meat pattie, pineapple wedges, thickly sliced tomato and lettuce leaves onto bagel bases. Place the lids on top and skewer to secure filling.
