
Allsorts slice

This yummy recipe using licorice allsorts is a new twist on an old favourite; lolly cake.
Ingredients
250 g | Malt biscuits |
125 g | Butter |
150 g | Condensed milk |
280 g | Licorice allsorts |
2 cups | Icing sugar |
1 Tbsp | Cocoa powder |
1 Tbsp | Butter |
1 Tbsp | Water, boiling |
Directions
- Place biscuits in the bowl of a food processor and process to fine crumbs. Add melted butter and condensed milk, and pulse until well mixed.
- Transfer biscuit mixture to a bowl and mix in chopped licorice allsorts.
- Press mixture into a 30 x 20cm slice pan and refrigerate until firm.
- Combine icing sugar and cocoa in a bowl and mix in butter and enough boiling water to make a spreadable icing. Ice slice and allow to set before cutting into pieces
