Clams with linguine
The white wine and garlic combine to give this dish a wonderful depth and aroma.
- Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil and cook linguine for 8 minutes or until just tender.
- At the same time melt butter in a saucepan and gently cook chopped garlic and capsicum for 5 minutes. Season with salt.
- Increase heat and add wine and clams, cover pan and cook for 4 minutes, shaking at times until clams have opened. Discard any that don't open.
- Drain linguine and combine with clams and chives.
- Serve in 4 bowls.
