Tuna and feta lunchtime slice
Easy, quick and delicious, load up your lunch box with our tuna and feta slice. Serve with a green salad.
|185 g||Tuna in spring water|
|½ cup||Tasty cheese|
|1 to taste||Salt & freshly ground pepper|
- Heat the oven to 200C. Grease a 19cm round springform cake tin. Place the flour, salt and butter in a food processor and process until crumbly.
- Transfer mixture to a large bowl. Add the milk and mayonnaise, then stir to form a soft dough. Divide the dough in half. Roll out one half on a floured bench and use to line the prepared tin.
- For the filling add drained flaked tuna, finely chopped spring onions, chopped feta cheese, thawed spinach, grated tasty cheese. Layer the filling ingredients on top of the base and season with salt and pepper. Roll out the remaining dough into a circle and use to cover the filling.
- Sprinkle the top with extra grated cheese. Bake for 35 minutes until golden brown. Cut into wedges and serve while still warm.
