Light seafood pizzas
The words seafood and pizza are enough to make you reach for the salad, but our recipe is minimal fat and maximum taste!
- Heat oven to 200C.
- Place halved pita rounds on two oven trays and spread with pasta sauce, leaving the edges free of topping.
- Scatter with drained and flaked tuna, shrimps, anchovies and capers. Season with pepper to taste.
- Bake for 20 to 35 minutes, or until topping is bubbling hot and pizza crust is golden brown.
- Scatter rocket over hot pizzas to just wilt and serve immediately
Highly flavoured toppings such as salami, tuna, anchovies, capers, sun-dried tomatoes and olives mean the addition of cheese is not necessary for this recipe, and the pizzas are low-fat and healthy as well as tasty.
