Serve this Spanish treat with chocolate sauce, icecream or simply eat a square with a coffee. Place it into an airtight container and it should last a few days.
- Preheat an oven to 170C. Line a 20cm x 20cm tin with baking paper.
- Into a large bowl combine the sugar, butter, yolks, ground almonds and chopped almonds. Pour into the tin and spread evenly. Place into the oven for 45 minutes until just set. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
- Dust with icing sugar before serving.
