|500 g||Beef mince|
|1 tsp||Fresh ginger, finely grated|
|1 tsp||Crushed garlic|
|1||Small red onion, coarsely grated or very finely chopped|
|1||Green chilli, deseeded and finely chopped|
|¾ cup||Coriander leaves, chopped|
|¼ cup||Mint leaves, chopped|
|¼ cup||Tomato, chopped|
|1 Tbsp||Besan (chickpea flour)|
|1||Egg, lightly beaten|
|1 tsp||Garam masala|
|1 tsp||Coriander seeds, crushed|
|1 dash||Oil, for pan-frying|
- Mix all the ingredients together except the oil for pan-frying. Divide the mixture into about 16 balls and, using wet hands, press each into a patty.
- Place enough oil in a large frying pan to just cover the base and heat over a medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Serve patties with your favourite chutney, salad leaves and grilled bread.
