( SERVES 6 )
This week we are sharing our go-to dinner party dishes. This brownie recipe is great as well because you can whip up the batter very quickly and have it already made before your guests arrive. Alertnatively, put it in the oven when you are making the entree and it will be ready and rested by the time you’re ready to serve dessert.
- Preheat the oven to 160C and grease a medium-sized square tin (approximately 25cm).
- Cream the butter and sugar until pale. Add the eggs one at a time, beating the mixture in between each addition.
- Sift in the cocoa and flour and gently fold into the mixture along with the milk. Lastly, stir through the walnuts.
- Cook the brownies for 50 minutes. Cool and serve with icecream and sprinkle with some of the chopped walnuts and cocoa nibs.
