Cook's tip: Picnic platters
Sometimes it's the simplest things that impress the most. A few classic Kiwi ingredients can come together so simply to cater impressively on any occasion.
For a long, hot summer picnic try a barbecued butterflied leg of fine New Zealand lamb, cooked before you leave home and served cold. Or pack up the portable barbecue and cook your meat on the spot.
