Amaretti baked apples

- Preheat oven to 180C. Core the apples and sit in a baking dish.
- Stuff each apple with the crumbled biscuits and prunes, then dot with butter. Pour over the amaretto and water, then pierce the skin of each apple with a skewer. Bake for 45 minutes or until soft.
- Put the sugar and water in a small saucepan and boil until a caramel colour. Quickly pour in the cream and turn off the heat, stirring as the caramel cools.
- Pour over the apples and serve with cream.
