Marinated Lamb Chops
Juicy tasty chops every time. Even people who don't barbeque very often cant go wrong with this. A family favourite.
|1 cup||Japanese soba soya sauce, Sungold thick Soya Sauce|
|1 cup||Brown sugar|
|1 tsp||Chilli paste|
|1 bunch||Fresh rosemary|
- Mix Sungold Soy Style Sauce (This is the only soya to get the sweet moist taste in the cooked chops),brown sugar,chilli together.
- Place chops in a dish so they all lie flat and not stacked. Pour marinade over. Place bunch of rosemary on top. Seal dish and place in fridge for 3 days. Turn chops morning and night. (I usually cook a dozen chops as I have a bunch of men to feed, but the basic marinade is for equal amounts of soya to sugar so adjust it to your own needs.)
- Day 3 take chops out when you need them and drain marinade.Let chops come up to room temperature. Barbeque or grill as usual. Grill temp 180c Cook well, note second side needs less cooking time.These are great served with grilled peppers, and sweet corn or a fresh salad and with garlic pita bread. I just use bought pitas from the supermarket.
