Lamb with fresh cabbage and potatoes
( SERVES 4 )
It's simple and easy to make but still has fantastic taste.
- Wash lamb neck pieces, cleaned of visible fat, and place them in a pot with enough water to cover the meat. Cook and remove the foam during boilng. Meanwhile prepare vegetables (parsley, carrot, onion and garlic), clean and cut into smaller pieces. Peel tomatoes and remove the seeds. Remove outer leaves from cabbage, wash it and cut it into four pieces. Add all vegetables to the bowl so that it is covered with liquid. Simmer for about two hours.
- Carefully remove the meat, remove the bones and cut into small pieces and return to the bowl. Clean potatoes cut into small pieces, then wash and boil in another pot. Drain and drizzle with olive oil.
