Best and easiest lamb shanks
This is a super easy recipe that is a stunner and great for entertaining to WOW your guests
- Slice onions into rings, fry gently in saucepan to soften, remove & put in casserole dish along with stalks of rosemary
- Dredge shanks in flour, fry outside to brown & place into Casserole dish on top.
- In frypan use all the fry brownings, add red wine & balsamic vinegar. Bring to boil & pour over the shanks/onion mix in the casserole dish
- Cover & bake on 150 degrees for 2-3 hours or until meat falling off the bone. Serve with mash and fresh greens. Absolutely yummy, good winter fare that wows!
