Al Brown is a chef, TV presenter, writer, fisherman and restaurateur. His restaurant, Auckland’s Depot, became a crowd favourite the moment it opened in 2011, followed by Federal Delicatessen in 2013.

Al enjoys fishing, eating just about anything and believes that more time should be spent pleasing the palate than garnishing to please the eye. He encourages us to eat, and not take ourselves too seriously in the kitchen.
