4 pork loin chops
500g beef steak
500g white fish fillets
2 chicken breasts
1 red chilli
1 red onion
Rosemary, coriander, basil, parsley, thyme
Broccolini, or a green vegetable of choice
3 small beetroot
8-10 small corn tortillas
- Pork chops can be rubbed with garlic, lemon, rosemary and olive oil and left overnight.
- Fry tortillas up to 5 days in advance and store in an airtight container.
- Green sauce can be made up to 5 days in advance and stored in the fridge.
- Bulgur can be soaked and drained and stored in an airtight container in the fridge up to 4 days in advance. As can the dressing.
Junior diners will enjoy this sweet and juicy combination as much as the grown-ups. Serves 4
Use fresh tortillas if you prefer not to fry, or you can now buy tostadas under the Tio Pablo brand at selected New World stores. Serves 4.
The seafood counter at your local New World is a must-visit, with a sustainable, local catch cared for by New World’s very own seafood experts based at the fish markets. Ask the in-store fishmonger for today’s fresh catch and maybe try something new. Trevally as a perfect choice for making ceviche.
I use this green sauce and variations there-of – using herbs to hand – to accompany fish, chicken and vege dishes too.
