Mother's Day delights
Next Sunday is Mother’s Day folks so I’m giving you the heads up and a little bit of help on how to make your mum’s special day really special. I thought a late afternoon soiree would be the ticket. I’m thinking my mum's famous Voodoo Sandwiches pimped with prawns and a baby gem chef snack.
These are my mum’s famous sandwiches, which always disappear quickly. Today I’m adding prawns just for a little something extra. A tip is to refrigerate the onions before chopping them, this will stop you crying, and rubbing your hands with vinegar before and after slicing onions will stop any lingering nasty smells.
We’ve just put these on the menu at Giraffe and I have to say I think they are a winner.
