In 2017 the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival stages it twenty fifth celebration. The Festival runs from March 31 to April 9 with a masterclass featuring chefs from eight of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants, an exclusive one-off collaboration not to be missed.
The 2017 ASB Classic player line-up that includes Venus and Serena Williams, Caroline Wozniacki, Ana Ivanovic, Roberto Bautista-Agut, David Ferrer and John Isner is enough to make this event the hottest in Auckland this summer but it’s the food that has our attention.
A four-year partnership with The Kitchen by Sky City continues with all areas of the ASB Classic grounds being catered by Peter Gordon, Nic Watt (who is also designing a bespoke menu for the Moet and Chandon Champagne lounge) and Sean Connolly who is also serving the best of New Zealand cuisine at a pop-up version of his restaurant The Grill. Spanning two weeks commencing with the women’s tournament on January 2-7, followed by the men’s on January 9 -14, tickets (from $15) are available now at asbclassic.co.nz
